BarryIn my opinion Barry Sanders is the best running back ever to play in the NFL. He created the jump cuts and all the insane moves he had and used during his playing career. Sanders played for the Lions his whole career and is the all time leading running back for them in yards. Sanders is considered one of the greatest runningback of all time. People call him the goat of football, aka greatest of all time. Sanders rushed for 100 yards 76 games in his career. One short of the most all time in NFL history for running backs which is pretty impressive . He was drafted in 1989 NFL draft and he went to Oklahoma State in college and broke pretty much all the records at Oklahoma State which is also really impressive. Sanders joined the hall of fame in 2002 class listed as the top running back to play in the NFL during the course of his career. Sanders won rookie of the year in 1989 and his number 20 was retired by the Detroit Lions as well. He was also introduced into the college football Hall of Fame in 2003. Barry Sanders had moves like no other and that is what made him as special as he was. Kids growing up watching him did the same moves he created in the NFL and people copied his every move he made. that is how good of a running back he was and kids loved him. The reason I choose Barry Sanders as the best running back ever to play the game was not just cause of how good he was a how many awards he got and his stats. It was because he changed the game and how it was played by college football athletes and high school athletes. He also inspired so many kids to play the game of football showing how much the game was an impact on his life. Barry Sanders is the greatest running back of all time and I don't think anyone can get on top of what he did. Barry Sanders will always be the greatest running back of all time and if anyone tries and passes him for all of what he did that would straight up be impressive.
